Shipping Terms and Conditions

Fintrim sells a numbers of different sized items of many different weights, therefore we require a number of different shipping methods to send our goods.

All delivery methods will be calculated for you in your shopping cart.

The Shipping Methods are as follows:

Pallet delivery ( Briquettes, Flooring and Doors)

Courier ( All Hardwood Mouldings and Door Kits) 

Samples Delivery (£2.50)

Pallet delivery ( Briquettes, Flooring and Doors) 
Pallet delivery is for heavy items such as Flooring, Briquettes and several complete Doors. The pallet company we use will deliver to any UK address, but if access is limited to your property please advise us prior to delivery. If we are not made aware of possible delivery problems, i.e. narrow access, pedestrian only area, etc prior to delivery it may result in a delay and further costs to your order. The pallet delivery company will deliver your order to outside your property they are not obliged to deliver the goods inside, please ensure you have space available to receive the delivery and the capability to receive the goods from the pallet.

Courier 
For Courier delivery we use Crowfoots and we send items on a 24 or 48 hour delivery service, depending on your location. This means your order will need to be signed for. Any damages or shortages must be reported at the time of delivery ( within 7 days), and recorded on the delivery schedule. If you are not in when the delivery is attempted, the driver will leave a card with contact details on. All items sent with Crowfoots are insured and if any items are lost you will be sent replacements free of charge.

Fintrim Standard Terms and Conditions

Payment types- Wittswood flooring products trading as Fintrim take payment online though pay pal. This accepts all major credit cards and funds from your pay pal account if you have one. Please note you do not need a pay pal account to shop online with us.

Privacy policy- When card details are processed Fintrim do not store any cards details. Your address details will only be used to communicate with regards to your order and to improve customer service and will not be used for any other marketing purpose. We will not sell, distribute or disclose information about you or your personal usage of the site without your express consent or unless required or permitted to do so by law.

We have business and technical partners whom we share data with to handle orders, process credit and debit card payments and provide a range of services, including for fraud protection purposes. They are bound by Data Protection covenants and must process the personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Laws.

Stock availabillity - The confirmation e-mail that you recieve is a confirmation that we have recieved your order and not a guarantee of stock availability. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will cancel and/or refund any unavailable item and will do our best to let you know as soon as possible.

Changing order/cancel order - To change or cancel an order with us, please contact us by phone on 01205 722700.

Delivery times- We aim to despatch your item within 3-5 working days after your item has been made (standard stock). Please note stained stock, skirting and architrave are generally made to order. If there is a problem with stock of any kind, we will let you know as soon as possible.

How your items are delivered - Items are delivered by Crowfoots.

Exchanges and refunds - Fintrim will exchange or refund goods that are faulty or if we have sent the wrong item in error. If an exchange is needed please return item in original packaging to the below address. If item is faulty please call the office prior to sending back to us to make us aware of the fault. For all exchanges and refunds items must be returned to us within 28 days of purchase.

We advise you send item via a guaranteed delivery service, such as royal mail special delivery, as we cannot be held liable for any goods lost in transit.

Stained product - Fintrim will endeavour to achieve the best possible match when staining product based on a sample supplied by you , the customer.
